The Geography of Refugee Installation in Greece (1926)

This project arose from the need to investigate the degree of dispersion of refugees originating from the same residential unit or ecclesiastical province of the Ottoman Empire during their settlement in Greece. Information on the geography of the installation in Greece of Greek Orthodox refugees from Asia Minor, Eastern Thrace and the Caucasus have been drawn from the "Book of Ecclesiastical Provinces and Appraisers Committees" located in the archives of Appraisers Committees of the Ministry of Agriculture and deposited in the General State Archives.
